ABOUT
I was raised in sunny Newport Beach, California, spent fifteen years in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona, and now live in Brookline, Massachusetts, where I’ve made friends with winter, though I’m better friends with the other three seasons. Having experienced a wide range of climates and people, I’ve come to appreciate how both our environments and our life experiences shape who we are and how we move through the world.
I’ve always been fascinated by people: how we love, how we hurt, how we grow. Even as a kid, I imagined myself becoming either a therapist or a judge. Ultimately, I chose the path of therapy, while also integrating legal and forensic work through my roles as Guardian ad Litem and Parenting Coordinator. I grew up in a creative household, both of my parents were professional photographers, and I worked alongside them for many years. That experience gave me an eye for story, emotion, and expression, which I later integrated into my therapeutic work with adolescents through photography as a tool for identity and healing.
I’m grateful every day to do work that is meaningful, healing, and real.
Outside the Office
I’m a mom to three incredible adult kids, and one wonderful son-in-law-who keep me grounded, humbled, and laughing. I stay healthy through movement and connection-yoga, Pilates, walking, spin, and surrounding myself with people I love. I engage in everything I recommend to my clients: reading, exercise, connection, meditation, learning new things, travel, writing, getting good sleep, and eating well. With a very large, deeply connected family, opportunities for celebration and meaningful connection are always plentiful.
